4th Annual Saivite Children Summer Camp in Chicago

Event:   4th Annual Saivite Children Summer Camp in Chicago

When:  June 13-14, 2009

The Fourth Annual Saivite Children Summer camp was held in Chicago, Illinois in June 13th and 14th. Thirty-four children of all ages attended this two day Retreat which was conducted by Rishi Thondunathan. Events included classes for children, philosophical discussions for adults, and a field trip. 

Children were instructed about the Nine Beliefs of Hinduism, karma, Dharma, Yamas and Niyamas. For the field trip, the group visited the Balaji Hindu Temple in Aurora, IL.
